As a winnipeger, I will say overall recation is more in favor then against. No matter what you put out some people are going to hate. I like how its simple which was key. The most succesful logos are simple.
They sold out of $200,000 (All that was available in first shipment) in merchandise in like 2 days and it was only hats and t-shirts. The key is how they design the color scheme of the jerseys with stirps and such. We are pumped to have the NHL back in the Peg!!!
The Canadian Air Force is supposed to be really good right? I would like to say that I've heard that somewhere....so is that why they chose the Jets theme?
And the logo is good, should work well.
Before they had a commercial Jet on the logo. The military Jet is more aggressive and shows speed etc. Also, with people hating to travel anymore a commercial jet airliner would make people think of annoying security lines. Just guessing.
