100% for grade 12. I probably won't do as well for grade 8 or 4.

100% in all three grade levels. I was always good at geography/history in school so I'm glad to see I haven't forgotten everything since then.

    Re: Test your geography knowlege

I don't know if the questions are random or not so I don't know if you guys got the Great Lakes question, but I missed that one. I think it was a dumb question, don't the seasons affect whether the air moving across the lakes would be warmer or cooler than the lakes themselves? For example, in the spring the air would be warmer than the lakes but in the fall the air would be cooler because it takes a lot longer time for water to cool than air. This is why November in Northern Wisconsin is actually warmer than April/May, because the lake's warmth (still warm from summer months) is still affecting the local climate.

I had that question. The time of year was December which would mean the air temperature would be well below freezing. Since the lakes don't actually completely freeze, their temperature would be above freezing.

For the record, I got 14/15 right. Missed the last one in grade 12, which I agree should have been obvious.

I don't know what some of these questions had to do with geography, but I got them all right. Pretty common sense stuff.

Ok, so after consulting wikipedia, I guess there's something called "human geography", which is a social science that deals with the interaction between people and the earth. I guess those other questions fall under this category.

It wasn't just you. Knowing women gather wood and water in East Africa is NOT geography.

    And I got 100%, too.
