    2012 -13 Roster

In the spirit of the other thread...

I know it's too early, and a lot can happen - but when has that ever stopped us? Besides, everyone does it... ;)

I think the following year's team could be even better than this year's - especially if Royce stays - and I think he will (that's based on nothing, FYI).

    Lucious/ Sledge
    Babb/ McGee
    Clyburn/ Ejim
    White
    Booker

This would be my primary minute-getters. White & Booker would be rested by some combination of Clyburn/ Ejim/ Gibson at the 4, and Gibson/ Railey at the 5. Depending on matchup and game circumstance, I think Ejim and Clyburn could fill at the 4 for a bit.

Others getting spot time would be:

    Gibson
    Railey
    Niang
    Okoro
    The 13th scholarship player
    Bubu
    Law

Royce will play a single season and be off to the NBA after we win the NC.

As long as is based on nothing and not CCL stats. I think it could be a better team also. FWIW, I think Niang is going to be hard to keep off the court.

I think Clyburn is more likely to see time at the 2 instead of the 4.

Disagree. Royce will want the repeat, and then he'll want the UCLA-style threepeat. He'll get greedy, and we'll love it.

    re: 2012 -13 Roster

I just don't see Freddy going with a traditional PG/SG/SF/PF/C lineup ever.

so I think next year it will be more like

    Lucious
    McGee/Babb
    Clyburn
    Ejim
    White

with Sledge, McGee/Babb, Booker and Niang/Gibson being the main bench players.

Well, playing Booker at C is not a a traditional lineup since he is a 4 so, he could play Booker at the 5. Just because we don't have a true center does not mean we are only going to play small. Most teams don't have a true center anymore, especially teams that run a more uptempto style, but they still look for 6'9 6'10 players who are athletic, and more naturally a 4, that will play the center position.

I agree, and the '4's we have (White/Booker) I think will play the '5' almost exclusively. What I meant was more around the traditional '4' position, which I think CFH will continue to treat as a second athletic wing position, rather than a power forward. So Ejim, Babb, Clyburn will fill that position because its not really a low post position at all.

    Lucious
    Clyburn
    Babb
    Ejim/Booker
    White

And Mcgee, Niang, Sledge all puttin in some big time minutes, as well. This team could make some BIG things happen.

Certainly there is no hunting like the hunting of man and those who have hunted armed men long enough and liked it, never really care for anything else thereafter.
