    That was an absolute monster.

I especially like how Revere is so short he practically needs to jump to give Thome the high five at home plate.

    Ugh.

    Baker to the DL

Hopefully this isn't the beginning another day-to-day, 15-days, one month, two month, magical extended-leave injury stint.

Good for Thome. Will always root for the guy. Simply a class act.

When will ESPN and non Twins fan start following his road to 600?? IT's a huge accomplishment.

The way this year is going, it'll probably be a while before he gets there.

Don't confuse hope for a plan.

Thome is hitting a home run every 6 games (7 home runs in 42 games this season.) 6 At that pace, it'll take another 24 games for him to reach 600. 6 of his 7 home runs have come at Target Field this year. So I'm willing to guess that it will take 20-24 home games for Thome to reach 600.

I'm predicting he hits 600 somewhere between August 18 and August 25 when the Twins host the Yankees for 4, and host the Orioles for 4. Thome's one home run on the road this season came at Baltimore.

yeah, ESPN won't pick it up with it being a month away. They'll start covering at 598.
