I am sorry, but if you are still using Limewire you are an idiot. The reason I am saying that is that is the reason there are so many virus out there and that is how they get around so fast. I haven't used limewire in about 7 years, know the rules of the forums you just need to google torrent and take it from there.

Yeah, stay away from limewire, it'll kill your computer pretty quickly. If you want to download legally & cheaply, Amazon has really good deals all the time. You can pick up a lot of good new releases for $5.

Otherwise, hop on the bittorrent train, my friend.

The reason I am saying that is that I said I use to use Limewire but then there were so many viruses on it and it helped them get around so fast. Hmmm. I can't think of one virus that could really hurt your computer on limewire. Anyways, limewire has been shut down last time I heard.

If you read my original post it clearly states that I want to download live stuff that is not for sale/never released. If it was for sale I would buy it.

For example there are several live versions of songs off of previously purchased albums that they play on sirius sat but they arent available for purchase. Those can usually be found on the downloadable sites.

    YouTube to mp3 Converter

Works great, just used it yesterday and it automatically puts them in your iTunes.

Wait, wait. You're telling me you've never borrowed a cd from a friend and put it on iTunes? No difference, you didn't pay for it and you're using it.

    Re: Music downloader

I don't download music much, but when I do I just google youtube downloader and use one of those. Call it stealing if you'd like, but I don't see how me downloading it is any worse than some guy uploading it onto youtube for millions to hear whenever they want.

    Re: Music downloader

I think there is a cfer that is also an IP attorney. I am sure he is loling right now.

I am pretty sure the obscure/live stuff is obtained through newsgroups and ftp by people who actually go to the concerts and recorded the shows. My buddy had about 90 albums of live concerts that J. Cash never authorized. He couldnt find any of that stuff without newsgroups. That was in 2002.

You know how your father never had any music other than from his college days? I guess that is me now, as I dont have the desire to run out and support Chris Brown's lifestyle, so I havent bothered dling music in quite some time.

here's an even better one. The wife and I were watching a show on hgtv (i know) about garage sailing crap, and then styling a room with new stuff. There was a moment where they wanted to rip all of the thousand cds in the office and sell them to clear up space. I am sure that that is also illegal, you would have to delete your songs if you get rid of the cds.

at least I am sure that that is what the riaa would tell you.

Instead of downloading music anymore, I just added streaming to my XM account and listen to that on my Ipod. I am rarely in a spot without wifi.
