    The Thing Prequel

Watch: First Full Trailer for Universal's 'The Thing' Prequel Emerges « FirstShowing.net

    First official trailer.

I for one am excited about this. It has big shoes to fill but I think it will be solid. The first one holds up to this day. I watched it again a few weeks ago and its still terrifying. Even the end was unsettling because it was left open with the two characters just chatting it out. This one will be interesting because we have the knowledge of this group pretty much all dying.

I loved the John Carpenter version. Hopefully this prequel can hold it's own. Unfortunately Hollywood has a lousy track record for movies like these.

They say country music speaks to the heart. Unfortunately, it has to go through your ears to get there.

From the trailer, it pretty much looks like an updated carbon-copy of the original. That said, I'll still probably watch it because I liked the original.

No need to remake this movie. Hopefully it is a complete flop like the LOTL remake of 2009. The 1982 remake is great, full of errors but great. All puppeteering and work back then none of the crappy computerization.

Okay, I recant, this movie is about the Norwegian base camp that was shown destroyed in the last one.
