    Italy Practices

Practices for Italy start on Monday. They're doing 3 a week up until they leave.

Also heard that Chris Allen will most likely be running the point (when they're not running, in which anyone will bring it up), at least going into these practices.

Not surprised Allen will be playing point. Ideally, he won't have to all year, but I think your best lineup can't leave him out.

These practices are going to be huge for this team.

Until we know what McGee and Sledge bring to the table in actual practice and games, I'm all for having Allen play the point.

Sledge isn't ready yet. McGee will get playing time. Sledge may play garbage minutes right now but I see him playing a more significant role in a year or two.

    Enjoy.

Sledge will play more than garbage minutes.

    Re: Italy Practices

If I have to guess (it's only a guess) that we will ultimately spend most of our time with two "combos" on the floor - Allen and McGee... Once McGee gets up to speed, familiar with his teammates.

Now with the understanding that Royce can handle, that adds a different dimension.

Anyone know if Babb can handle against Big XII defenders? We know that Ejim needs to work on his...

    Re: Italy Practices

I personally see a starting lineup of Allen, Christopherson, Babb, Ejim and White going into Italy, with McGee and Booker being first 2 off the bench. McGee will be that guy that provides a huge spark with his ability to score and defend.

This is absolutely correct. Railey and Buba will also get significant minutes.

I can't see that. Sledge will get more than Bubu too.
