It's a good video but it doesn't come close to being the top 10 plays in cyclone history

Probably not, but definitely some cool highlights on there.

Including "The Run Jr." -- the Wallace scramble vs. Nebraska(?) in '01.

I wish all of these that Pete Taylor called had his audio. The Run is especially better with the radio call.

A negative aside: I generally don't like highlight clips with background music.

Great video. I was in the press box for Seiler's run. The rule about no cheering in the media section went out the window when he broke that run. All the Iowa media was cheering so loud. I can remember the Nebraska Ast SID standing up, ****** off, waving at our SID to make another announcement that no cheering is allowed in the "working press box". Classic!

I know, chizik should be in every highlight if it's a real top 10.

I disagree. I love Pete as much as the next ISU fan, but the TBS call on "The Run" was awesome in my opinion.

It might not, but it's got a couple of them in there for sure...

    -Seneca's run vs TT
    -Sieler's run vs Nebraska
    -Billups' punt return

I'd say those three are in ANYONE'S ISU top 10. A couple more are borderline like Lane's reverse and the Troy Davis run and Lester reception. The Alan Bell int and the Hunley hit definitely shouldn't be on there and I don't think the Shaggy FG should either. I would have probably included the JJ Moses reverse against iowa in 2000, the Seneca pass to Whitver rolling left out of his own endzone in IC in 2002, the Curvey return for TD in the CU tornado game, the Danielsen TD at OSU in 2000. Of course, I don't go back into the 70's and early 80's.

Probably not many from early '80s anyway.

Except: Frankie Leaks spin move & TD vs. Iowa, 1982. Fantastic.

Agree with those 3 and Pete's calls on all 3 are awesome, I get chills every time I hear the Sieler call. The JJ reverse would be in my top 3 mainly because I was there and to hear Kinnick go from crazy loud to so silent you could hear a pin drop was AWESOME!

Re: Love this video. Pete Taylor :(

When I made this video my collection of footage was very limited. I basically just put together everything I thought was decent and made a video out of it to get everybody pumped for the spring game we had the next day. It also happened to be the Friday of Veishea so I wasn't completely sober when I put it together. If I were to make it again, I would include most of the plays mentioned above as I now have video of them, but it would be silly to have 2 videos of the same topic. There are three projects I'm working on right now that include:

    -Iowa State Mens basketball tribute
-2010 Football Tribute + Senior Tribute
-Alexander Robinson highlight reel (haven't started, but could be a fun one)

I'll post as soon as I finish

Love Pete Taylor. John has been a more than worthy successor, I just wish we'd had Pete for longer...

Your 2009 season tribute video was superb. One of the best I have seen and I have watched that at least 100 times.

My all-time favorite wasn't just one play. It was when Fred scored the last 17 points against ku. Fred kept hitting 3's, and Pete was screaming "GOOD AGAIN"!!!! You could barely hear him over the crowd. I cannot wait for that type of basketball again.
