Read this article yesterday - it's a good one!

Georges sure has a good team at Tilton - with Nerlens Noel and Wayne Seldon. That's a lot of top D1 talent!

Love the enthusiasm. I really hope this kid is something special. If nothing else, he looks to wear the colors with a lot of pride.

Re: The Arena Pulse: Georges Niang

Great article. I agree getting kids that want to be part of the turnaround is not always easy. I see Georges as being a guy that could be a great future leader and help land in some talented players trying to lure/persuade them here to Ames. This guy is exactly the guy we needed to recruit.

I was gonna ask about that. Looks like he played pretty well, but only played 13 minutes. Anyone know why?

Fouling out in 13 minutes but still leading the team in scoring...
    Good or bad?

The results of this game is the reason I laugh at everyone on this site that complains about the coaches recruiting out of state more than the local kids.

Re: The Arena Pulse: Georges Niang

Look at the halftime score, along with both the points off turnovers and points in the paint. This looks like a Men vs. Boys game. And I am supposed to believe we should be recruiting the players off the Iowa Attack team? Pleeease. Let's leave it to Fred to pick out the future Cyclone ballers.

I'd say pretty good. Sometimes you just have a game where you pick up a cheapy foul, have an offensive foul and the next thing you know you are in foul trouble. To do that and still play well enough to score like he did is very impressive.

Telep: Georges Niang. Good teams have blue collar finishers and rebounders. Glue guy who carves out his niche

This is quite the lineup for the Iowa team, and they got destroyed. Woodbury with 10 points and 10 rebounds was the only bright spot. This is a team with 2 7ft players.
