16 assists? While scoring 38 points? Holy cow.

But, only 8 rebounds... A little sub-par if you ask me...

I can not wait to see White in an actual game. 16 assists and 38 points from the post is amazing, even in the ccl.

Me thinks we are going to finally see the the sequel to this come January. Version two will feature Royce White and Tristian Thompson.

Royce didn't get a triple-double? I'm getting nervous the two years off of basketball hurt his game...

No pressure or anything Chris Williams, but were you able to get some video highlights from last night too like you have been getting? Those have been awesome. I'm sure if you did, it takes a little while to compile them.

Those stats are making me drool just a little bit. I know that it is the CCL but still putting up those kind of numbers is really impressive.

That will have to wait until the NBA. Thompson went third in the draft to the Cavs.

When do we play the Cavs this year?

Re: ***YMCA CCL Stats from 7-9***

When RW wanted the rebound last night, he got it. He knows he's the best player on the floor, and now, so do I. He can, literally, do it all...when he wants to. He was talking trash to Mahamde (Energy guy). He told him..."You can't guard me, and you know it. I don't care if you're NBA D League, NBA or whatever. You can't guard me." Now, I'm pretty sure Mahambe is a guard, but RW was playing like a guard last night. He ran the point, pretty much all night, and facilitated nicely. He has such a good handle, and tremendous court vision.

If he can show even half of Fizer's edge and intesity, RW can and will be scary good. He took Babb, who is billed as a defensive stopper, out of his jock a few times, and everytime the play started before crossing half court. That said, I was extremely impressed with Babb, as well.

Outside of RW and Babb, I was most impressed with Cluyburn and Lucious. Cluyburn scored every way possible, as did Lucious. Lucious has the ball on a string, too.

Allen didn't do all that much. His team got smoked by Clyburn and company. Both Booker and Gibson were late. Booker is built like a brick **** house. Favored the 3 when he was in there, but showed he can be effective down low. Gibson's a freshman, but made some pretty good moves with the left hand.

McGee is solid. He gets in there and bangs. Was shooting some deep 3's.

Scotty is on a BAD team, but looks unguardable in this league (which he probably is). I left midway through the first half of his game, because I was with my 5 year old daughter and she wanted to get home, but I didn't see him shoot many 3's. He would dribble into the paint, stop and shoot a turnaround, fadeaway jumper that was money.

Railey...meh. Again, I left early, but you can tell he still has a lot of work to do.

I didn't see enough of Ejim to comment. I can tell you he walks around with a great air of confidence.

Isn't Gibson a lefty? I'd hope he could make some moves with his left...

I'm starting to like the lineup of Allen, Christopherson, Babb, Ejim, and White more and more. Of course since we run up tempo it doesn't really matter because McGee, Sledge, and Booker will see a fair amount of minutes.

Yes, he is left-handed. I was trying to put a positive spin on the first thing I said...about him being a freshman. I don't think we're going to see much of him this year. Now, it's early, but some freshmen don't play like it...better or worse...right away. He does IMHO.
