271 pounds of blatant kick assedness!

    Re: Royce White 271?

I'd be worried about him weighing 271 if he was built differently. The fact that he only has 10% body fat makes me very happy!

Excellent. We have desperately needed some muscle in the front court for years. Now, hopefully the rest of the bigs can follow his lead.

    Re: Royce White 271?

That is one big space eater. As long as he can still get up and down the court, I don't see a problem with it. It has been a long time since the Clones have had a guy that could get rebounds just because he could hold his ground.

He is light on his feet and maneuvers very well for a guy that size.

    Re: Royce White 271?

IDK, but does this team have any parallels to the 1999/2000 nat'l champ. Mich. St. team? That team took kicked total butt, and took no names along the way. Our team looks to have both power and speed like that MSU team of eleven years ago. (Has it been eleven years already?) Does our team have a Mateen Cleaves look-alike?

    rocks!

Except for one team that had them all but beat, until their best player fouled out.

That game (ISU v. MSU) was the national championship game without a doubt; I can't even remember who played MSU in the title game as they didn't give MSU a whole lot of trouble.

Edit: MSU played a Florida team coached by Billy Donovan and beat them 89-76.

I saw him on the side of South Dakota this morning and he looked like a STRONG 271. I wouldn't worry about it.

    Re: Royce White 271?

Not to sound creepy, but I saw Booker at the CCL without a shirt. Let's just say he looked like he should be in a bowflex commercial. The dude is ripped. Love how our big guys are hitting the weight room. Gibson and Niang will have good role models. Hopefully this trend continues.

Ya they were good but you seem to forget that one team they played was better and their name was ISU
