7 dead bunnies in 2 days

We recently sent our 1.5 year old cat outside for long durations, mainly because the escape artist made it impossible to keep him inside. Our previous outdoor cat decided to nap in the street a few months ago. Not a good idea. Anyways, he has really caught on to this rabbit-killing thing. 6 bunnies and 1 full-sized rabbit later, my gardens are virtually critter free.

    Yay Willow, the fierce killer.

WHAT! Your cat is a heartless bastard! Did he at least contact the DNR before killing to make sure rabbits were in season?

we learned the hard way about having an escape artist cat. the cat was a long hair siamese mutt so it was hard to check for fleas and was late getting frontline on her. we had to bug bomb the house twice and wash everything twice, then took the cat to the vet. a shaved ***** cat is a funny looking thing.

Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink I feel ashamed. Then look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery and all of their hopes and dreams. If I didn't drink this beer, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself, "It is better that I drink this beer and let their dreams come true than selfish and worry about my liver."

I'm almost positive that all of this has been illegal poaching. I haven't shot rabbits for a long time, but the season usually starts around football season.

We have already become accustomed to Frontlining all of our animals after the flea outbreak we had last year with the indoor cat.

Wow, you just want him to kill them? Critter? I don't see a bunny being a critter.

Good thing your cat doesn't sleep on the street anymore.

Yes and it usually runs through the winter season, I believe. Daily bag limits are 10 I think, so your cat at least didn't go over his bag limit. I'm assuming your cat killed to eat? If he just killed to show how manly he was, than he deserves to be shot.

I just dont understand why any creature out there would kill for fun. Its a life, not a game...

The cat that took naps in the street now lives in a hole in my backyard. This cat probably will get his also, but not because of lounging in the street. More likely he will get hit chasing something.

And yes, I have ZERO problems with my cat killing these things. They are just as cute dead as they are alive.

I have yet to see this cat eat anything it kills. Usually brings it to me as a "gift" for the family. The dead cat, well, he used to eat the heads off of the snakes he caught.

    So is your cat.

Maybe he needs to meet my Goodyear tire.

Maybe this cat needs to meet a pit bull. That would be entertainment.
