Well, considering we haven't seen the 2011 team play yet.....can't really answer that.

We had Curvey and Leaders on the inside. Moorehead, Berryman, and Cephus Johnson split time at DE. Someone named Tim Dobbins played LB, along with Carper and Jamar Buchanon I believe. And for defensive backs we had guys like Deandre Jackson, Steve Paris, LaMarcus Hicks, and Nik Moser.

If I remember correctly, Iowa only crossed the 50 yd line once in that game that year. I'm pretty sure that is accurate. It was either only once or twice, I can't remember? We won 23-3 though, I do remember that very clearly. And it easily could have been a lot worse. Berryman, Dobbins, and the rest of them knocked Little Man Tate out of the game. He just took a severe beating that day. It was great.

05? I'm going to go cry now over what could have been.

The best defense I have ever seen at Iowa State.
