    Phillip Nolan 2012

Any news on the recruiting front for Phillip Nolan? There hasn't been a lot of news about him here on cyclonefanatics.
He comes from the same high school as DG but I think he is going to prep school in NJ? So would TJ or Matt Abdelmassih be recruiting him?

Seems like we would want a taller, athletic big man to come in with Niang and Okoro. Allows us to focus on guards in 2013.

Happy 4th of July to everyone!

He's gotta beef up if he's gonna play in the Big 12, 6'10" and 200 lbs is gonna get you beat up in this league.

While this is true, it is no reason not to be interested in him. Most high school athletes come into their freshman year needing to put on additional muscle to get up to college level physique and Nolan would be no different. If he has the skill set and the drive, which it appears he does, then I don't see any reason to definitely not be interested in him.

Has anyone confirmed the offer that we have on him? When did it occur?

Yeah, I was just stating a fact of the matter. Having 6'10" players is always a good thing, especially if he can come off the bench while developing his body. If he can put on 10+ pounds this next year, I'd especially want him to sign.

Would love to see Hoiberg get this guy. An authentic BIG man with some added muscle would be the best addition at this point.
