    Capital City League - 06/26/11

Game 1: Atlantic Coca-Cola Bottling vs. Two Men and a Truck
Chris Allen dominated the first half for Two Men, and Babb led the way for Coke by shooting lights out from behind the arc. Lucious dribble penetrated much more tonight and also hit a few treys. Babb and Allen were guarding each other, and going at it hard. There were some funny moments in this game, like when Lucious got a lane violation on a free throw. Babb was getting called for ticky tack fouls and getting frustrated, and Allen was jokingly trying to get him T'ed up. After his next foul, Babb ran to the bench and took him self out and jokingly said "I don't want to play anymore." He later fouled out.

Rayvonte Rice from Drake dominated the second half of this game and was very impressive. Drake fans will also really like freshman Jud Welfringer this year. He had a great game, and will likely do well in the Valley.

Game 2: MOHA vs. Peak Performance
Scottie was absent. Railey had a nice game offensively and hit on several mid-range jumpers. He also had a couple blocks. Anthony Booker was handling the load of the offensive work in the first half for MOHA and had a solid game. The second half was all Will Clyburn. He couldn't miss from downtown. Can't wait to see the stat sheet to see how many he scored, but he was amazing. I thought Aaron Law was going to take out Adam Emmenecker on defense. He knocked him down a couple times.

On another note, former Cyclone walk-on ALex Dorr has been doing some really nice things in this league this year. He is plating for University of Mary now.

Game 3: Capital Orthopaedics vs. adio chiropractic
I left this game at half time. Tavon Sledge was absent again. Ejim was stuggling tonight. He was about 1 for 10 from beyond the arc, and had a missed dunk that looked like it hurt. Tyrus McGee continues to impress. Royce White went about 1 of 4 from downtown, and had a nice dunk. He really is a good passer, too. He also provided some humorous moments, like yelling incredulously when the officials didn't call a ball out of bounds at one point.

    The surest sign it's a summer-league game-He ended the game with 40 and 21.
