    Now, a big guy like that, with adrenaline and a good lift could probably move that car a few inches. Enough for somebody else to get the guy out. I'm sure people have read about the various stories of mothers lifting cars to get their trapped children. It probably doesn't look like Action Comics #1, but a few inches is possible.

    However, a lot of these feats also come with the unfortunate side effects of muscle damage. For example, the story of this guy who essentially bench pressed a 1000+lb rock off his chest, as he was sliding towards a cliff after the rock face came off in his hands.
