Because legitimate, smart NBA teams think less of him than Chukwudiebere Maduabum, Milan Macvan, Targuy Ngombo, Ater Majok, and Adam Hanga.

Or, a different answer, because he can't shoot.

You're right, he can't make a shot to save his life.

I like how you act like you are the smartest person around because Garrett didnt get drafted.

Jason Kidd couldn't shoot. Rondo couldn't shoot. Darius Morris can't shot, he's actually worse.

You can say he's not an NBA player, but don't give some generic ******** reason like that as your only reason.

Jason Kidd and Rajon Rondo obviously had other gifts that allowed them to scrape by in the league. Why do you think he wasn't drafted? It's not some big conspiracy that no NBA team wanted him more than Chukwudiebere Maduabum, Milan Macvan, Targuy Ngombo, Ater Majok, and Adam Hanga.

Scrape by? Those two either were or are elite guards in the league.

Let's see where he ends up compared to those other guys. My bet is that he ends up in a better spot than them this fall.

A ********/burn out guy got on to Cyride one night last winter and claimed to be the smartest person alive because he was wearing a starter vikings pullover. Not because he like the Vikings but because he likes the actual nordic vikings. You may have taken his place as the smartest person alive.

I have no idea what you are talking about.

Regardless, why do YOU think he didn't get drafted?

Re: UPDATE: Hoiberg says Diante Garrett will have options

I don't know why he didn't get drafted. I just believe that his potential definitely outweighed that of some of the others who were picked before him. A 6'5" PG with a 6'9" wingspan is hard to come by. Let alone one with the vision and ability to score like DG.

Re: UPDATE: Hoiberg says Diante Garrett will have options

I know why he didn't get drafted. The teams that would've taken him late in the draft had lucked into PGs earlier in the draft or got PGs in trades. Detroit, Portland, the Lakers, Dallas, Cleveland, ect.

And like Fred Hoiberg said some teams that would've been interested didn't have 2nd round picks.

I guess it is just how the cookie crumbles.

This also plays a big role in it but KUCLONE insists that no matter what DG would not have been drafted

Re: UPDATE: Hoiberg says Diante Garrett will have options

And kucyclone just give it up. The guy was obviously in the top 60 players in the draft and just under 10 teams drafted no name scrubs from the congo because they didn't have roster spots open for a player here. That is why DG didn't get drafted and he will be a sought after rookie FA. A player ESPN didn't even have video of got drafted over DG who was like 52 or something on the big board. Doesn't mean DG sucks, just means the draft was basically 50 picks long.

You really dont have an idea of what you are talking about read the quotes from Freddy. Teams take guys like that because they dont have room. I for one still think he should have gotten drafted. When he is outplaying half of the guys that went in front of him then these teams do not pay much attention to what players can show now instead of potential. Garrett is going to make a team and I have a feeling he is going to be more successful that Selby, who he should have been drafted over.

Check out my posts on DG:

You can start by reading this thread - http://www.cyclonefanatic.com/forum/...line-up-2.html - from before DG's junior season.

Maybe then check out this thread - http://www.cyclonefanatic.com/forum/...uard-play.html - from midway through his junior season.

Here's a good one from before this season:

His 3-point percentage last season wasn't nearly as bad as you would think reading this site. 19 of 54, 35%, translates into an effective FG% of 53%, which was well above our team's total effective FG% from last season.

I can probably go on, if you still think I'm lying. I've always been a big fan of DG, even when the rest of this board wasn't.
