ISU Auction items at the ETFF outing

Scored myself a Paul Rhoads autographed, game worn #44 jersey at the Ed Thomas Family Foundation golf outing auction yesterday. Pretty jacked about that.
Also saw a signed ISU helmet go and a signed football.

I'm pretty sure there will be more ISU stuff auctioned off at the celebrity outing next week along with the chance to golf with coach Orr, John Walters, or Coach Elliott.

Great organization to be a part of that is doing some great work around the state and nation and its good to see some Cyclone connections to it.

Exaggeration is a BILLION times worse than understating.

I hate to burst your bubble, but if it was game-worn it was very lightly game worn. Kevin Hamlin wore 44. Did he even play on special teams?

I really want to get my hands on a real helmet.

There's a sports bar here in town that has a signed Matt Blair Vikings helmet in one of its show cases. I would really like to get my hands on it, but it would probably cost me more than $1,000.

What difference does it make how used it was in a game? It was still worn by a player on gameday...still a nice item.

Number didn't matter to me. Was more excited about having a CPR signed authentic game jersey. And its got the scuff marks on to show wear. Could be from warmups but I couldn't care less about that.

I should have stated a new "I State" helmet. I have a whirly CY one that I bought at the surplus sale a few years ago. It would be cool to have one thats 40 years old too!
