    New in-state offer

Just heard that Kane Seeley from Perry was offered this week. He was the 215# state wrestling champ who beat Lemke in DM. I believe he was offered as a LB. He plays LB and tailback for Perry. We have not had a lot of success in football which I thought might hurt Kane's recruiting. Great kid who comes from a great family. He reminds me of Jake Knott and Jevohn Miller in that he is an under recruited kid with similar size and speed.

If you've never heard of him before then how do you know what kind of talent he has?

How dare our football staff offer a kid without consulting hiltonmagic21?

Your right this staff has been down righty ****** in their evaluation of in-state linebacker talent. Also the fact that he was offered after working out in front of the entire staff during Friday's padded means the staff most likely hasn't seen enough of him to warrant an accurate evaluation let alone an offer.......

I believe our staff in who they offer. It is still very early in who we offer. This is not an offer right before signing day.

    Re: New in-state offer

Anyone know height and weight? Pretty busy around Ames today...a quick drive around town and I saw a bunch of FB campers leaving the IPF and what looked like a team camp going on at Sukup. Also saw the scoreboard, CPR, Wally Burnham, Hoiberg, Otz and Matt A.

    Re: New in-state offer

I'm going to trust the judgment on linebackers until this staff puts a bad set of linebackers on the field. I don't see that happening.

    I'm on Twitter too: Tre4ISU

    Or so I have read.

I see that he now has a Rivals profile, but no height or weight listed.

Very strong kid and a good offer in my opinion. Moves really well on the mat and will fill out very nicely.
