All of the songs mentioned so far are great. "Moving in Stereo" gets special mention, however, because of the image it provokes from "Fast Times at Ridgemont High." Those who have seen it know what and who I'm talking about!

I will throw an obscure song out there. "Strap Me In" from their album "Door to Door" has always been one of my favorites. That's probably their worst album, IMO.

These need to be in top five. Mainly songs off the 1st two albums. After that they got a little too commercial, MTVish. Sold out and went for the easy bucks like ZZ Top.

I saw them in concert in 1985. They came out without saying a work to the audience, played their songs exactly how they sounded on the album and then left the stage without a word. Great songs but kind of a disappointing concert. Still, you have to respect a guy as ugly as Rick Ocasek getting a girl like Paulina Porizkova!

Definitely agree with most of the suggestions so far. I would like plug their new album. Very good. Sounds like it could have been released in the 1980s. Great retro vibe that works. I had it on heavy rotation after it released...

Not sure honestly as I don't know the corpus, but Al's list looks pretty good to me.

That was kind of their M.O. I had the Heartbeat City tour video and it was the same deal: all about the music and not about the talking. Maybe they were sort of shy fellows, who knows? I guess I'd rather have them get up there and be who they are than something they're not.

My Candy O 8-track got destroyed in the player a few years ago. That album is half the reason I had an 8-track player in the first place.
