    Tailgating Gear

Gearing up for the new season, I am looking for a good tent/canopy for tailgating in the concrete parking lot. I want a quality one that will hold up against wind/rain/snow and also get some side pieces to attach to also help block the elements.

Does anyone have any good suggestions of where they have bought theirs or any other advice regarding these? Thanks!

I bought a red one a couple of years ago at Dicks sporting goods.. they were having a sale.... $59.00 for a 10 x 10
very cheap legs.. and they bent the first time out....
But I went down to a loca steel supply place and bought aluminum square tubing to replace the 4 legs... only 12 dollars total.. and its heavy thick walled aluminum.
Now it is very strong and still light..... has turned out great.. and still cheap.
We then added 2 yellow sidewalls that attach with velcro for 30 dollars.

Had two tents for about 7 years that I bought from Hy Vee. Finally wore them out and bought two more from Hy Vee for this fall. ISU tents with all the side walls.

Just make sure you have a 9'x9' tent if you get one of those two. Most of the square straight side tents are 10'x10'. And also notice those links are just the canopy...no frame.

The link to the ones with the frame would be
Iowa State Cyclones Red/Yellow Pinwheel Tent - 156-42

As one who sets up and tears down 3-4 tents every game, i recommend the logo brand ones for ease of setup. Goes up and down very easily, as opposed to some that are a bit harder.
