2011 Fortunate 50: Highest Paid American Athletes

not surprising to see Tiger still on top, although he's down almost $30 Million from last year, but there are definitely some unsuspected entries, and quite a few guys who don't deserve to be on the list.

I assumed I would see Cam Newton's name on that list?

Re: 2011 Fortunate 50: Highest Paid American Athletes

i think i heard somewhere that making it pro in golf is (by far) the most difficult sport to reach the pros. Of course, according to this list, it reaps the largest rewards.

Even so, Tiger is only bringing in a *measly $2 mil for actual golfing. .. If you aren't winning the big tournaments, the money drops considerably I believe.
