Callaway X460 Driver Review (Clubs, Review) - The Sand Trap

I couldn't hit a driver to save my life, but after playing with a buddy I used his driver, I then proceeded to buy this on ebay on my phone during the same round of golf. That is how much I like it. You should be able to get this around 50-80 bucks online. It was made in 2006, but is still a great club. I'm also a casual golfer that plays in some tournaments.

Hank Haney says the TaylorMade R11 is the best driver out there right now. Of course he's getting paid by TaylorMade I'm very happy with my Ping G10.

It probably is. I am still rocking the R9 Supertri but the R11 is pretty sweet.

I have the R9 as well and love it. I had the R7 quad before that and I was very leary of getting rid of that. I am very glad I made the switch tho. I haven't noticed a considerable amount of different in distance but I do hit it better overall.

    Re: Golf Driver

I've found Cleveland to be a good middle ground between what is affordable and still a quality golf club. I hit a Cleveland HiBore XL for a long time before upgrading to a Titleist 909D2, but I'd imagine you could find a HiBore XL for between $50-75.

R11 is the best driver on the market.. if you want to drop $400. My recommendation is the Taylormade Burner Superfast (last years model). It will be the best bang for the buck. Golf Galaxy has it on sale for $150.

I just bought one and added 25-30 yds to my drive. I was using a Cleveland Hi-Bore XL before.

    Burner Superfast

Callaway Razk Hawk and Razr Hawk Tour, are the longest drivers on the market. R11 is a great club, but numbers don't lie.

Used Golf Clubs and Discount Golf Equipment from 3balls.com

Check out the Callaway FT-5. Like $60. I still have the FT-3 and love it.

That site is very good and they stand by all their stuff. It's usually in pretty good shape if they say it is. Read about the site, but it can be very useful in situations like the one you are in.

After reading every one of these statements, the answer is simple. Just have your wife drive for you when you golf.

Adams Speedline Fast 10. You can probably find a used one of last year's model for around $60-$70. A matter of fact, a buddy of mine just did last week at Golf Galaxy. I have one, and I like it.
