    High Trestle Trail question

Anyone been on the new bridge? What is the closest place we can park to the bridge?

    Thanks

Bestplace I found was the N-S gravel road about a mile or so to the west. It is a concrete trail all the way there.

If you miss the gravel road, the bridge is about 2.5 miles from both Madrid and Woodward, and is paved the entire way. It's flat and decently protected from wind.

My pregnant wife and I are gonna walk it, so I'd like to park within a mile or less of it. I heard QF lane road at he East side is a half mile from the bridge, so that might be my best bet.

if you have to walk its ~ 1 mile away... there are convenient trailheads in Madrid & Woodward but those are both farther than the gravel road mentioned above...

At night its sick, sunset would be a great time to go as well

That is our goal for tonight. I'll see if she's up for walking a mile or not.
