    CONCACAF Gold Cup

Will any of the soccer fanatics on here be following the action? USA opens group play tonight against Canada. This isn't the most pretigious competition internationally, but this year's winner does get a spot in the 2013 Confederations Cup.

Going to the game a week from tonight in Kansas City, will be my first National Team game, and first game in the new stadium!

I'll watch what I can, which probably won't be much. I will watch for results though... I can't blow off all priorities for the Gold Cup like I can (and did) for the World Cup.

At least with the Gold Cup all of the matches are at "normal" times. US kicks off in a few minutes.

    Re: CONCACAF Gold Cup

Finally got home from work. Managed to find the game on one of the Spanish networks. Is there a decent English stream anywhere? Feel free to PM me if you don't want to post a stream link.

    Re: CONCACAF Gold Cup

watching it on mute on one of the spanish channels that mediacom has. i hate to watch soccer any other time unless the US is playing. we are off to a good start being up 2-0 in the 76th minute. i hope we can tack on at least 1 more to finish off canada. we squeaked it out the last time we play them so the more we beat them by this time the better. im glad the US is finally able to compete with major world teams if we have our full lineup (the spain game didnt count).

Good game and nice win for the Stars and Stripes.

There are not many crowds or places in the country that have a better impact on the game than at Iowa State. The Cyclone fans are truly a sixth man. The place is so loud and always a fantastic crowd." - Former Kansas and current North Carolina head coach Roy Williams

Probably a better feed than I was watching. I was watching it on Al Jazeera.
