    2007 High School Class

    Great article at Draft Express, shows where everyone in the top 150 of the 2007 high school class ended up. Then shows players who weren't in the top 150 who are making noise.

    Mentions five different Iowa State players somewhere in the article.

I can tell you from the research we've done, players ranked from 75 to 100 transfer schools 51% of time. It's a sobering statistic. When you're ranked like that, you have no ability to handle not being the man all of the time. And you have your entourage behind you pumping you up non-stop.     Iowa State comes off looking quite good in this article. Villanova, for example, looked pretty bad considering the recruits they brought in and how they have turned out.

    Also it's funny to think that recruiting experts were having a hard time separating the top 6 from this class: Rose, Gordon, Love, Mayo, Beasley, and ... Kyle Singler.

    If I remember correctly, Alvin Mitchell started out in Indian Hills Community College. He won national championship with Pete Mickeal.

    Amazingly enough, of the players in the 60-100 range of the RSCI in 2007, only 14 had “normal” college careers, meaning only 14 players played four seasons without transferring, redshirting or being outright dismissed.
