Ahead of Ben Hansbrough, who projects to be a PG and within 10 picks of Selby, Nolan Smith and Cory Joseph. I don't know that he can jump those three, but it seems like a lot scouts like DG better than Joseph.

As others have said - I'm beginning to expect that he will be drafted. Obviously we still have no idea, but we mustn't forget how impossible this seemed a year ago. Kudos to DG and Fred for making this happen. DG has worked very hard, and Fred let him thrive and has (probably) used his connections to get the word out.

I think this is very likely, not to take anything away from DG but Freddie is well respected around the league. Even if Freddie had nothing to do with it, we need to convince recruits that he did haha

Jamine Peterson played at Providence, got kicked off the team after last year's Draft, and played a year of D-League. Same deal as Mike Taylor.

I don't think a player has been drafted out of D-League who did not play in college. There will be some in the future if the NBA goes to a two-and-done with the new CBA, elite kids will go D-League for a year instead of going to college for two years.

False. Elite college players will go to Europe, not the D-League. The SEC pays better than the NBDL

Some could go to Europe instead, the pay is better than NBDL but the competition may be tougher and that could hurt players' draft stock (e.g. Brandon Jennings did not play well during his stint in Europe). Also keep in mind that elite HS players will be fronted extra money by prospective agents and will receive shoe contract money in addition to the D-League salary. Another factor is that European clubs may demand that US players sign two-year deals with high buyouts if they leave after one year.

The only reason I am going to tune into the draft is to see DG get drafted. If he doesn't I am calling farce.

    DraftExpress: Mock Draft

45th on Draft Express to the Hornets. Learning behind CP3, if he stays, would be great for him.

--Also pretty amazing that two weeks ago, he wasn't even mentioned at all on this site and most others. Shows what good workouts and working your *** off will do.

Wait, I thought DG was awful and will never get drafted.
