DeLoss Dodds: No plans to expand

Per the St. Louis Post Dispatch.

"No. It is absolutely no. No. Not a thought. Not a consideration," he said, though adding, "I think a better way to say it is I don't think the Big 12 is going to start something. ... It's pretty good the way it is."

Big 12 schools happy with outcome

DeLoss Dodds doesn't sound like he wants to go anywhere. Which, of course, is a good thing.

I'd take this as fact since he basically runs the Big 12

Yup. However, if adding schools would make Texas money, he'll do it. The title game was never a problem for Texas.

Re: DeLoss Dodds: No plans to expand

I don't think that the Big 12 will expand or do anything about scheduling until one of the big dogs, TX or OU, get knocked out of a BCS bowl after loosing to ISU or KSU or KU. AS long as there are three or four bad teams in the conference to beat up on, the good teams will not be concerned about scheduling North Texas or Rice to get easy wins.
