Considering that some folks (CFB writers) seem to think ISU is going in the wrong direction, the pre-season accolades that a number of Cyclone players shows the amount of respect the job CPR and staff is doing with the program. With all the accolades, it's obvious the Cyclone FB program is not going in the wrong direction, but the exact opposite. It's been a long time that this many Cyclone FB players have garnered pre-season All-American; and first and second team all Big12.

If you look at Phil Steele's All Big 12 team, we're still in the bottom third in players honored I believe.

Maybe so, but the actual numbers are up from the recent past I believe. There have been years recently that ISU would garner one or two pre-season third and fourth team all Big12. This year is a definite improvement in the respect ISU's players are getting.
