Champions League Final: Manchester United vs. Barcelona FC

Who is your money on? I think United will nick it, 2-1 with Rooney and Chicharito on the scoresheet. As long as it is a good game, I couldn't care either way.

As a United fan, I'm really hoping they can pull of the victory, and I believe they have a very good chance to do so. If Vidic and the rest of the defense can play as well as they have been, I think we can slow down Barca's attack. Add that in with some good performances out of Rooney, Hernandez and/or Berbatov and I think it's United's match to lose. 2-1 Red Devils.

In West Des Moines right now, but that looks like a pretty cool place. I'll have to check it out next time I'm in CR.

If I didn't have to work at 2 I would be at the Londoner. If anyone likes Earth, Wind, and Fire or Chicago the Symphony of Chicago is having a concert on the field before the Kernels game, concert starts at four game at 6:35 fireworks after...shameless plug.

I don't understand why Americans don't just root for the Premier League city in which they were born and rasied.

Why do I cheer for the Toffees and Houston Texans? Because I'm the exact opposite of a bandwagon rider!!!

Barca better win, though. I'm still bitter about Rooney leaving Everton. I guess of Man U pulls it out, van der Sar is a good guy and it would be okay to see him retire on top.

As a Cubs and Cyclone fan, I will readily admit that I choose to follow a team that is a consistent winner.

I just wish I could see more Premier League/Champions League matches on tv without upgrading to the sports tier package that includes the fox soccer channel.

Re: Champions League Final: Manchester United vs. Barcelona FC

I'm surprised there is so much ManU love. When Barca is clicking they are basically an instructional video on how to play soccer. I think Real Madrid and Barca are far and away the best two teams in the world this year and ManU will try to ugly up the game and hold on to a scoreless draw as long as they possibly can. I predict a 2-0 win for Barca.
