Steel Jantz Question on ESPN BIG 12 Blog?

Saw this on the blog and was wondering if it was accurate?

    Alex (Des Moines)

Steel Jantz's community college coaches also worked with Seneca Wallace and Jeremiah Masoli. Is he the player to take ISU to the next level?

    David Ubben (3:05 PM)

No way of knowing yet. He's still in competition, but I wasn't aware of the Seneca and Masoli connection. I'll have to research that a bit.

I had heard about Masoli before, but not Wallace.

All I can find is the football coaching staff at the City College of San Francisco (where Jantz played JUCO,) but I cannot find any of their past work.

The Masoli connection doesn't take much research (though it probably would for Ubben.) Both Masoli and Jantz played at CCSF.

Wallace played at Sacramento City College. Maybe the coach was previously there prior to San Fransisco.

I had not heard anything about this and find it interesting. I'm trying to curb my expectations over the off season so I'm not expecting to much out of our QB's. Hopefully this fall we have a solid QB no matter who the individual is running the Offense.
