Heck, I can hardly go down the stairs from the upper levels of Jack Trice Stadium without holding the handrails.

Well yeah, its not like they can just hop in the car and go get him if things went wrong. Horrible way to go. Ballsy dude.

Can you imagine just floating above Earth, looking down on that blue beauty? What an amazing feeling that has to be.

    Re: Cool space pics

I recently had the opportunity to hear Jerry Linenger, flight surgeon and Shuttle/Mir astronaut, speak about his experiences in space. It was amazing to hear about the boredom, joy and terror of it all. Remember that he was part of the Mir crew who fought the worst ever fire aboard a spacecraft.

He talked about the joy he experienced in a space walk until the distance from the craft led to vertigo and the absolute terror he felt. He finally overcame it and experienced one of the most gratifying moments of his life when he had the courage to put the sensation of falling aside and could enjoy the exhilaration of the utmost in freedom.

Those guys (and gals) experienced some things that most of us will be lucky to only read about.

    Thanks for the pics, HubbleUp!
