    Chicago Code

Has anybody else been watching The Chicago Code?

I got hooked a few weeks back and I'm bummed it's getting the axe. Maybe FX or another channel can pick it up.

The last two episodes were pretty bad A. Thoughts?

    Re: Chicago Code

What about the Paul Reisner show and the new show with Kathy Bates?

I think both were canceled during the 2nd commercial break of the first episode

    Re: Chicago Code

I'm only about halfway through the season (I have a lot of shows on my DVR), but I've really enjoyed watching it. I hope your right that FX or something gets it.

Oddly enough, Kathy Bates' Harry's Law lives.

I watched the first couple episode of Chicago Code, but when i saw what it got for ratings i kinda stopped watching it since i didnt want to get invested in a soon to be cancelled show, and i already had Chuck and House monday nights.

I really enjoyed the show and hope somebody picks it up, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

    Re: Chicago Code

We watched the whole season and were pretty bummed when it didnt get renewed.

I seen that it avg. 7.6 mill viewers and other shows that didnt avg that high were kept.
Too bad it was brought up on FOX....they are looking for sure things.
If that show came out on CBS it would have been renewed.

I heard rumors that the Chicago "goverment" pushed for it to get the axe because it hit a little too close to home.
    I dont know about that.

I would love for USA or TNT to pick it up and keep it going.

Excessive intake of alcohol, we all know, kills brain cells, but naturally it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. That's why you always feel smarter after a few beers.

If it was not filmed in a Fox studio but by an independent, shows have a tendency to get cut.

Good show that was getting better.

Rumor has it that O'Bama did not like the Irish mob being shown in a bad light.

    Re: Chicago Code

Just watched the finale tonight. Really enjoyed this show and was liking where it was going. Wish it wasn't being canceled, but I can see why it would with anyone in the government in Chicago.
