Re: Diante working out for T-wolves

Far more teams than just the T-Wolves are there.

    http://www.examiner.com/nba-draft-in...-for-may-23-24

Garrett is in the 2nd group, with Dogus Balbay, Justin Holiday, Jereme Richmond, Matt Howard & Keith Benson

It sounds like Jamie Vanderbeken is up there, as well.

    ISU's facebook page:
Good luck to Diante Garrett and Jamie Vanderbeken in Minneapolis today at NBA workouts!

I could be wrong, but I don't think Vanderbeken is part of this same group workout. DraftExpress - who does a great job of covering these things - has made no mention of him.

Re: Diante working out for T-wolves

What is it with the T-Wolves and PGs? They have drafted at least 1 PG in nearly every draft in recent memory plus they still have Rubio overseas that may 1 day finally play in the NBA.

Tweet from Chad Ford: "NJ workouts began today. Hearing positive things about Jon Leuer, Malcolm Lee and Diante Garrett (again)."

If Garrett doesn't get drafted, then it isn't by lack of showing scouts what he is made of. I have seen at least 3 different sources say Garrett has stood out in at least one camp and I have heard it over and over.

I agree, I think at the very least he'll earn his way into a training camp.

if they watched the last 2 minutes of any game that the clones were within 5 points of, they wont draft this clone... nice guy maybe, but talent is definitely lacking

Yeah because you know more about basketball talent than several NBA scouts. Come on man, think before you post.

Re: Diante working out for T-wolves

Last time I checked there were 5 players on the court the last 2 minutes. Lots of good players especially role players come from teams that may not have had the full package in college but alone they could help create a great team.

    Lacking talent is a stretch.

6' 5" pg's with the ability to get to the rim, distribute and not turn the ball over are a high priority in the NBA last time I checked.

He may not get drafted (he should), but he will be in someones training camp.

He will never be asked to take over a game in the NBA, so I'm sure the NBA GM's who know more about basketball than you, are not worried. He is going to be a guy who runs the offense and gets to the paint and dishes out.
