    Who will be our starting PG this year?

    Just curious to know who everyone thinks will be our starting PG this year? I still believe it is really the only question mark left on this team. If we get good PG play, I think we could be VERY good.

    That's pretty much why I voted for McGee.

    I think McGee and Sledge will compete for the job, but McGee should be more prepared with 2 years of JUCO under his belt.

    I think Allen could play some PG if it turns out that neither McGee or Sledge is quite ready yet?

    It doesn't really matter who the "starting" point guard is. Many people will be able to play it

    I think Allen is our best guard, but I think he makes a better SG. Sledge might be the same way, but I think they give the nod to McGee. I do hope Sledge can become our PG though, after this year with McGee and next year with Lucious.

    I voted McGee but I expect Bubu and Sledge to get some decent minutes. I wouldn't be shocked to see Sledge getting 10+ min/game by the midway point in the season.

    I don't think Bubu gets that much playing time.. we have too much talent now. I think Sledge has the ability to be great for us, the only question is his size. I think if hes a little taller there's no way Iowa State lands him.

    Keep in mind that Bubu has been here now for two years. That is somewhat of an advantage and if you put him in there with 4 very good scorers, he won't have to do much besides get the ball up the court.

    I see him getting more minutes early on, and then as Sledge gets some experience under his belt and picks up the system, Bubu will lose time to Sledge.

    I don't think it really matters but I think Allen and McGee will be the primary ball handlers. Allen may not be a pg but I am sure he is working on those skills because that is the only way he will get to the NBA. Plus Fred said he was going to use Allen like he used DG last year.

    Chris Allen is not going to the NBA. I think he will spell McGee at the point some but he's not the penetrating create shots for others type of point guard like DG was.
