    I suspect: Knott

I hope: Steele Jantz or Jerome Tiller.

I voted for Jantz not because I think he will be because I hope he will be, or Jerome Tiller, because we need a really good year out of the QB position.

Hopefully Kelichi Osemele helps protect whoever the young, inexperienced starting quarterback is.

Leondard hands down..... Seriously I think it has to be Klein or Knott. KO is probably our best player but he plays a position that really only gets attention when the play bad.

I would have voted for Osemele, but his name is spelled wrong. It's spelled Kelechi.

That's what I get for copying and pasting the spelling in the poll option.

My sentiments exactly. None of the QB's should be in this poll until a starter is named. Just for the simple fact that you can't vote for a guy to be team MOP when you don't even know if he will play enough to be his position MOP. Come on people....use some common sense when creating these polls. Steele has more votes than AJ, LJ, SJ, and KO??? All of these guys are starters. Not sure why Steele even made this poll. If you had to put a QB on it it should have been JT. Right now he is the #1. If you just have to vote for Steele over Barnett or Tiller, use the poll on the Des Moines Register blog. It last they were smart enough to create a poll with the 3 QB contenders.

I'd assume he's on the poll because if he's not our starter....and he doesn't have a really good year...we are ****ed.

Re: 2011 Cyclone Football Outstanding Player Award

Voted for "other". Nearly voted for Shontrelle Johnson (who I am extremely excited about watching). But, in actuality, I think Aaron Horne is going to shock people at how productive he is on the field. (We'll see.........)

i hope steel jantz or tiller also, if so our offence should be gang busters. Mate that with a solid D; we could have a very good year.

So, we are selecting from a sample space of guys that would potentially be the top vote getters.....not from a sample space of guys that for sure will be on the field at that respective positions. Makes sense now. In that case, I vote for Aaron Horne because he's not listed in this ******* poll.
