    Cleveland Cavaliers

They won the 1st and the 4th pick in the NBA Draft. Who do they pick? Also, David Kahn looked like a complete ****** on TV. How that idiot has not been fired is beyond me.

It took several years late for Glenn Taylor to fire Kevin McFail. I don't see Kahn getting fired soon. For some reason, Taylor seems to enjoy owning two money-losing and losing franchises (Lynx and Wolves)

Kahn has sold the idea of Ricky Rubio being the guy to turn the franchise around to Glenn Taylor so I don't think he's going to get fired until Rubio comes over here.

Kyrie Irving and then Enes Kanter or one of the big Lithuanians.

Other than power forward with hickson, you can pick anyone with those two picks and replace a starter.

This will be great for them.

    Re: Cleveland Cavaliers

Think about this for a second. If the Cleveland Cavaliers had gotten the 1st and 4th overall picks in the 2003 draft, they would have drafted.......Lebron James and Dwayne Wade. That's crazy to think about. A dynasty from the start that would have been

I think absolute best case scenario would be Kyrie Irving and Derrick Williams. If you took Derrick Williams first overall then you could get either Irving or Knight fourth. Would be a pretty good haul.

    Re: Cleveland Cavaliers

The Cavs should be able to get much much better with those. I think you take Irving at 1 and then I think you have to get the best available guy that isn't a guard.

I agree, but they need a guard first and foremost IMO, and I don't think you take a chance missing out on Irving. Of course a WIlliams/Knight draft wouldn't be the worst either.

    Re: Cleveland Cavaliers

I am thinking Irving and then maybe Kanter. Establish your PG and C spots which are very important in the NBA. They also have Lebron's 14.1 million trade exception so they have that to use to get something.

Big T-Wolves fan here. First, I don't see how Kahn deserves to get fired to be honest. Has he been the greatest GM? No. But you can't land any big free agents, and I think the NBA draft is a complete crap shoot. It's easy to look back and say "duh" with somebody like Ty Lawson for example, but if it was common knowledge he'd be awesome, he would have gone higher than 18th in that year's draft.

The talent in this years draft is a large step down from prior years, this seems to be the worst talent pool since 2000

I thought that and people were saying that with the 2009 draft.... But Griffin, Tyreke Evans, Steph Curry, Brandon Jennings, Jrue Holiday, Ty Lawson, and Taj Gibson haven't been so bad.

Then you look at the 2010 draft which was supposed to be a step up from the 2009 draft, but so far that hasn't been the case. Still early though.

While this draft is supposed to be weak, we will see what happens.

I'm with you, I go with Williams first. He has a little Blake Griffin in him that I like. Kyrie won't be available at the 4th pick but you still have a good shot at a good couple guards, not too many people are even talking about Walker being available then.

    Re: Cleveland Cavaliers

I like Williams over Irving just because he has the track record and the talent. With Irving playing so little, it's all upside and not much productivity. I'm not crazy about Kanter, but I think they could grab Knight at #4. Best option for a long term rebuilding project like they are? Grab Williams or Irving and then try to trade down a few spots for a future #1. If they trade and manage to stay in the top ten, they might still be able to grab Knight or Walker at PG.
