    New Rivals.com Top 150

Interesting to see Marcus Paige commit to UNC then drop down to Number 51. Usually UNC recruits go up for no reason other than commiting to them.

Adam Woodbury now 99. Gessell is 127. Webster Chan dropped way down to 129. Kale Abrahmson is now#147 and Daniel Dingle is #148.

    No Okoro or Niang.

Of course not - they committed to ISU - that's good for a star or two deduction...

They liked Niang but didn't like that he was a 6'6 PF. Said he just missed being in the top 150. Top 200 player for sure.

I don't think they have seen much from Okoro. And really, I will take his offer list over where rivals has him ranked.

Yeah you are right. Okoro being offered by Pitt and Arizona is good enough for me.

Someone 'splain this: The #1 overall recruit is #2 at his position-center. The #3 overall recruit is #1 at center.

    Re: New Rivals.com Top 150

I'm going to go out on a limb and say people who say ratings change based on school are idiots.

They are evaluated, and rated. The continuing playing, sometimes kids get better from one year to the next. They get evaluated again, ratings change. Theres a pretty good chance that the schools looking at these players get THEIR evaluations before you see them on some stupid sites.

We could be looking at someone, by the time they are ready to commit somewhere better team scoops them up because they became great players their senior year of High School. Their rating didn't change because of the school they committed to, it changed because they got better so better teams were interested in them.

Pretty easy really. Click on the link for position ratings. They are unavailable as they are updating them. Austin use to be the #2 center but in about an hour when they update them in the system, he will be #1

Funny his size keeps him out of the top 150, Fizer turned out to be barely over 6-6 when he arrived at the NBA draft camp and he worked out OK. Seems like ISU has had quite a few undersized players work out.

Yeah, I agree. Every year comes NCAA tournament time you see undersized post players from smaller schools succeeding.
