Commuter lot. They still patrol Freddy. Gerdin lot is a pay lot. Everything else on campus you pay for. DPS is still like hawks during the summer. Gotta keep the cash flow!

Yep, no special summer parking rules on campus.

    Safe from DPS?

I would be careful waiting too long at stop-sign.

The lot north of MWL is free parking as well for the first 4 rows near Beach or something. It's pretty free up now that MWL is empty for the summer.

You can buy a parking pass for Lot 29 (behind Molecular Bio), it's something like $30 for the whole summer. That's what I've done for the past few years.

Yeah, just go to the DPS office in the Armory. Just make sure to pay when you park there, it's an easy ticket for them.

I had to purchase my parking permit online through Access Plus. That's what they told me I had to do when I went into the Armory to buy a permit in person for this summer.

Ahh, then do that then. Was able to get them in person last summer. Doesn't affect me much since my fraternity is on L.Way

I'm staying with my girlfriend at UV for the next couple of weeks, thankfully they just went around and gave everyone warnings. Looks like I will be moving my car to the visitor spot and she will have to buy one.

no the rows near beach are lot 56 which is a gen staff lot and you will get a ticket. make sure you read the sign carefully if you park there and make sure youre in lot 63. theres no physical barrier between the 2 lots you just have to read the sign.

if anyone has questions about parking on campus let me know. i used to be "that guy"

Since you used to be "that guy", any comments on how late DPS usually patrols in the afternoons? My wife has class from 5pm - 8pm, so she won't be getting to campus until most offices have been closed for a bit (summer hours and closing at 4-4:30pm). The DPS website says their office closes at 4pm. Any chance they stop patrolling around then?
