    Meyer can run as well as throw, as he demonstrated with 122 rushing yards in an Independence Bowl victory over Miami his freshman year.
    THAT is the Meyer I'd like to see a bit more of. I remember after that game in '04 saying "Next year I'll bet we'll see a lot more of that".

    However, last year when Bret took off...he looked timid...as if he didn't know when to pull it down & run and when not to.

    Fitch blames himself for that...I heard the words right out of his mouth. And he followed up blaming himself with "We'll be doing a lot better job this spring and fall coaching Bret about his running abilities".

    Look for more rushing yardage from #7!
