Unless Tx A&M fan support increases drastically, why would any coach from Notre Dame, Marquette, or any other BB school want to go there? Only if they get a huge pay raise. Turgeon wasn't exactly an unproven coach when he left Wichita State -- won a couple MVC championships and took the Shockers to the Big Dance regularly. He did get a big pay raise going to the Aggies though. I wonder how much A&M is willing to pay for their new MBB HC?

A&M cannot afford Buzz Williams of Marquette due to his hefty buyout. He was target #1.

Frank Martin has confirmed that Maryland has already talked to Dalonte Hill about an assistant coaching position. It looks like Maryland is getting serious about basketball. A top notch recruiter from Washington, D.C. is a good place to start.

That would be fantastic. The majority of K-State's big time players recently have come from the DC AAU circuit.

I just read this too....so A&M starts over, and perhaps K-State loses its best pipeline. I can sign off on that!

Maryland slipped the last few years but Turgeon will have them back being a top 10 to 15 program soon.
