    Re: Cyclone Roundup: 5-6

Over the last two seasons, Iowa State hasn’t had a single bye week during the season. Next year, the Cyclones will have two.
    ...
Paul Rhoads has mentioned on more than one occasion that he enjoys not having bye weeks all due to the routine that his team gets in.
I would take the previous comments with a grain of salt. After all, since he's been here he hasnt had a bye week. In that case, even if he wouldve liked one (and at times we definitely couldve used one), he had 2 choices: a:complain about it, or b: motivate by looking at the positives and saying 'not only do i not miss bye weeks, i like not having bye weeks', obviously he chose the latter, as you'd expect most coaches to do.
