McLovin picks Osemele at 19 in Mock Draft

Andrew Luck, Justin Blackmon top board - Andrew Perloff - SI.com

I know he's been high on some other mocks, but it's cool to see that he's well thought of by a lot of people.

Love the use of the descriptive term "mauler"! That's a good thing!

Re: McLovin picks Osemele at 19 in Mock Draft

KO said on his facebook yesterday that he heard they were talking about him on the DP show yesterday, anyone catch that?

“One day we’ll be in here celebrating a Big 12 championship,” Rhoads said. “That I can promise you.”

"I hope to coach here until I retire," Hoiberg said.

Todd McShay has him going to the Steelers with the 30th pick next spring. That would be cool!

Re: McLovin picks Osemele at 19 in Mock Draft

I actually caught the snippet where they were talking about KO, and DP took a look and said "I'm not even going to try and pronounce that", but to McLovin's credit, he nailed the pronunciation.

Reiff at #7? Wow. He's good, but I'm not sure he is top 10 good. Other projections have him around 17

Agreed. I could see Reiff playing his way into the top 20 this year. If he decided to stick around for his senior year, THEN I could maybe see top 10.

Re: McLovin picks Osemele at 19 in Mock Draft

The thing I'm liking is that he is in the 1st round of basically every mock I have seen. Obviously its incredibly early and a lot can happen, but it seems to be a near consensus that he has 1st round talent. Now he's just gotta play like it and he'll be all set.

Cowboys need a new guard soon. Hopefully he will still be around at pick 32.

...so they can try to trade up from the 5th pick in the second round?

I have seen a couple reports having him head to the Chiefs in the first round. In two years when our LBs will be old as dirt, bring in Knott.

He could be a really good guard prospect. Probably a bit too slow afoot to play LT in the NFL, but with a little slimming down he'd be really effective.
