    Running ethernet

I'm thinking of running an ethernet cable in my cold air return from my second floor to the basement. Any helpful tips on doing this?

Run extra, don't pull it tight and pay close attention to your termination points.

Very important lesson learned... NEVER pass up the opportunity to acquire a bottle of Templeton Rye... NEVER.

    This.

You want to make sure you have enough pulled in case you mess up the termination - unless you have a pre-made cable. The twist in the ethernet cable is essential in the termination process, and if it's even slightly off your cable will not work.

I believe in the ether bunny.

Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice?
Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this.
