    Cyclone Club Members

With all the talk of there being <500 Gridiron club members and us being compared to Texas A&M who has 33,000 fans donating at least $100 for no reason I was curious how many Cyclone Club members their were. It is the bigger of the two clubs but still not an amazing number of approximately 6,000 members. While it may not be 33,000 it still makes me feel better than <500. The Gridiron club wasn't exactly easy to find from cyclones.com where as the cyclone club has a front page link.

Cyclone Club membership also required for most season tickets (1 membership per 2 tickets)

When people talk about Texas A&M and all their donors, do they all fall under one group like our Cyclone Club, or do they also have a specialized club like our Gridiron club?

I was somewhat shocked the Gridiron club only had about 500 members, but I wouldn't have guessed it any higher than 1500. Knowing the amount of donors in the Cyclone Club isn't real high, I can't imagine too many of those people will also donate to the Gridiron club.

I think the Gridiron and Cyclone club should have monthly payments setup for those individuals that would like to pay that way. I think it could sway quite a few people to join. IMO, asking someone to donate a little over $8 per month makes it sound much easier than asking for $100 upfront.

There is a payment plan for Cyclone Club.

I knew there were some options for payment plans for the Cyclone Club, but do they have a monthly payment plan? I thought they only had up to 3 or 4 installment type plans. I could be wrong.

Anyways, I guess my comment was directed more toward the Gridiron Club and how much easier it might be able to convince people to join if they only had to donate that small amount each month.

    This.

Already a member, but I'd probably donate more if there was a monthly plan option.

Right, they started a 4 month plan for last year's season ticket renewal period. I do think a monthly (12 month) subscription plan might not be a bad idea (for NCC, not season tickets). I'd consider upping my donation to the next level if I could spread it out over a year instead of 4 months.

I'd imagine this could cause some problems with people signing up for a higher level to get better tickets and then stopping payment somehow once the season was over. Maybe you could require that you had paid a given donation level in full the previous year before you were eligible for those benefits.

    Just spit-balling here!

There is a monthly payment plan, I used it last year for my NCC membership. They have annual, semi-annual, quarterly, monthly.

Can this be used when you are renewing your NCC for season football tickets though? I didn't see an option for this.

Yea, I do the monthly payment plan as well. I do it all through cylones.com rather than messing with all the paper forms. It's pretty easy.
