Pike said there was just something about Auburn that he loved.
    The money maybe?

I made my decision last weekend when I was visiting Auburn," Pike said. "I felt like that envelope full of cash was calling me to come to Auburn.
    Fixed it.

Preachers make for EXCELLENT middle men. Almost everything can be covered by confidentiality.

Pike was leaning towards Iowa early on, but I guess we can't afford a player with his skills. That's okay though, I really like what I've seen on Rudock.

Isn't it time to put the Chiz-mocking somewhere else than ISU football?

Re: Chiz now has God on his side...

Chizik has been claiming God on his side for a long time. And considering he's as dumb as a day-old dog, divine intervention is the only explanation for Auburn's success. And illicit cash payments. Those two things.

How early on? I ask because he was widely considered a Michigan lean and was thought to be headed there until he visited Auburn. I was very disappointed in this as I think he would have been key in getting a huge class to Michigan but now that will likely go to Auburn.

Don't you know? Every 5-star recruit is or was leaning to Iowa "early on".

It was VERY early on. IIRC, Iowa was among the first to offer him. But that's been 2 years ago now.

Oh, ok. Also, I am willing to bet $20 he waffles on this commitment at some point.
