    I wonder if he'll be a walk-on or a scholarship player. Anybody know?

    His buddy just tweeted this at me;

    Michael_Wolf22 Michael Wolf
    @AtownCY he's gonna be a preferred walk-on i believe. Not a scholarship athlete

    Sounds like a great get for a walk-on!

    Yeah it is.

    My hope is that this has something to do with getting Niang whether Law just wants to join him or this will help land him. I really wish we could find an in with Noel.

    Hopefully just a walk on. If it is it sounds like our second walk on joining the program. Some guy named Devon from Long Beach california as the other one.

    How does a coach convince someone to walk-on and pay out-of-state tuition? Or is there something worked out somehow to at least pay in-state tuition as a walk-on?

    Otherwise, I just don't see why somebody would do it. I'm glad to have these guys, don't get me wrong, but it doesn't make sense to me to pay out-of-state tuition for the slim chance of occasional seconds/minutes of game time.

    Those aren't improper benefits? Don't we need him to "accidentally" discover those? If the coaching staff tells him, that could be an unfair advantage in recruiting.
