I can't believe that there isn't a team in the NBA that could use him.

    Re: Stinson NBA D-League MVP

Here's to hoping he gets a shot in the NBA... That's what the D-League was originally supposed to be for, but has never panned out to do that.

that is kind of like banging the girl at the bar that is by herself at 3 a.m. it's alright i guess, but not something you are going to brag about to your friends.

The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game: it's a part of our past, Ray. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again. Oh... people will come Ray. People will most definitely come.

    Re: Stinson NBA D-League MVP

@draftexpress had a few tweets about Stinson/NBA today:

What does Curtis Stinson--a guy no team in the NBA or Europe has any interest in--winning MVP of the D-League, say about the D-League?
Stinson played in Europe a couple of times but couldn't adjust his game, or mentality enough, so he was cut. This summer had zero offers.
Wasn't trying to bag on Stinson. Just pointing out how little the stats & style that's played in the D-League translates to real basketball.

Unless that chick is a legit 10 that didn't get picked up. It can happen.

not really because even if the 10 is still out till 3 a.m. her freindasourous won't let it happen. The 3 a.m. bar chick is usually a little heavy, looking for ANY SORT of attention, and will let you do whatever, so it makes it worth it. But you tend to try and sneak her out pretty early in the morning.

The friendasaurus is something you let the wingman take care of. And even if she resembles a cave troll in the morning, that's what the fire escape is for.

    Re: Stinson NBA D-League MVP

Was at the game tonight and he got his award before the game, but seemed like the lower tier refs were out to prove they were "in charge"!! He got absolutely no calls all night. And for the record, I love Curtis to death but..... he plays no defense and it really showed tonight. Didn't really hustle back on D after no calls either, and I think that is why he's not in the pros now.

Sounds like a perfect fit in the pros to me, they don't want you to play defense

Undisciplined, no defense...sounds like he'd work well for the Knicks with Billups out.

You obviously haven't watched the NBA the past 10 years. You don't play defense, you don't win

I've convinced myself that alot of defense is played in the NBA but players are so good they simply can't be guarded. I'd argue that on about 75% of NBA teams there is at least one player who you just cannot guard 1 on 1 and on most teams there are enough other servicable players that you can't afford to double team every touch.

People can say there is no defense, but I'd love to see that person draw up a defense that can stop a team with at least two guys that probably should be double teamed every touch and three more guys that can hit an open shot when given to them.
