    Same Game?

After reading the previous post, I am really starting to doubt myself. Was I at the same game that you are guys are talking about? I am not a cheerleader for any of the QBs, but I thought the Capello kid was more consistent than the other three. No he did not have any long bombs but what is the completion percentages of those any way? But any time he was in he had long sustained drives. Mr. Capello, if you are out there how do you rate your son today? I am not here to berate any kid but I heard this Jantz kid was ISU's saviour. I think he had 4 fumbles and 1 interception. That's just the way I saw it today. I'll take any kid that can have long drives and keep his defense off the field; instead of just a quick hitter. I enjoyed the scrimmage and look forward to seeing how this plays out.

    Re: Same Game?

Yes he played well but he was going against the second string defense and he was put in later with the first string and didn't look as impressive. There is no doubt that Tiller is #1 for now but that could easily change.

    Re: Same Game?

Tiller was the obvious #1 today and Capello was the obvious #4 today for me.

All are close. It may come down to who gets it done in front of the lights. I hope all get a chance to show what they can do.

To me its odd that you are seeing something not many people saw.
It's strange that this is your first post.
To follow up with this being your first post, how did you know Capello's dad posts on here, where it looks like you just joined this site?

Wait, I thought it was Capello's mom and Woody's dad that were posters. Apparently I got it all wrong.

Also, I agree with the people saying that everybody looked decent, but nobody looked great. So Tiller gets the nod for now because he gets it by default and nobody else has taken it from him.

    Re: Same Game?

Would Martinez have made a diff if he had transferred?

Looks like the qb spot will be average for us again.

Read 10 different posts on the quarterbacks, and you will get 10 different analysis.

Most of those fumbles were the third-string center's fault. I won't name names, but he's a redshirt freshman playing his first real snaps as a center. I think all but one of the fumbles was because of the poor snap, and the fourth one might have been as well, btu I'm not sure about that.

The QB's had some fumbles on pressure/tackles too. You could tell they had not been hit much in practice.
