At some point in there he just has to look at it and just say, "well, would ya just look at that?!?!"

Wow, that would be painful to go through. It was painful enough just to watch.

    Re: Kevin Na's 16 on Par 4

Never had a 16. Woulda taken a stroke for lost ball and hand lofted it back in play after the first tee shot and went on my way.

    Re: Kevin Na's 16 on Par 4

I got a 15 on a par 4 my Freshman year of High Scool. It was windy as hell, and the hole was right on the edge of a nice slope that I was putting up. If you didn't make it in the hole it was gonna roll right back to you. It was about a 20 foot putt. I think I 8 putted it. This was after I sliced it out of bounds, aided by the wind, and then clunked a couple irons.

    Re: Kevin Na's 16 on Par 4

    I took a 14 on a par 3 during a tournament one time...

First shot hit sprinkler cover by the green and bounced out of bounds long. Was so mad when I walked back to the tee box, I accidentally teed off at the wrong set of tees and the Marshall called me on it. Fifth shot was a fried egg in the bunker, shanked my 6th shot, launched my 7th shot out of bounds long, hit what I thought was my 9th shot but doosher in my group called me for grounding my club into the sand after hitting ball out of bounds. Re-hit, two putted, and withdrew from the tournament.

The way I golf, your not allowed to have anything higher than 8 on the scorecard.

And you get to subtract a stroke for every beer you drink. You can easily convert that eight to a six on the front nine, but it's a bit of a challenge on the back.

Dean Wormer was wrong. Fat, drunk and stupid was a great way to go through college (all five years of it).

    Re: Kevin Na's 16 on Par 4

I was playing my fourth from behind the tee box on a par 4 once. Hit a wicked duck-hook off the tee which caught a large cottonwood flush and came right back at our threesome. One guy had to actually dive, tuck, and roll to avoid being tattooed. Ended up on a severe uphill lie on a creek bank behind the tee. Topped my 2nd, ball went straight up about 16 inches, landed, and rolled backwards into the creek. In on 2, out on 3, hitting 4. My playing parners were laughing so hard they had tears. Worst part is I was stone-cold sober. Made 9 though IIRC.

I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.

I think I may have in Minnesota a long time ago. Hit two shots into the pond, and three shots into the cornfield. My driver mysteriously ended up in the cornfield as well.

Snowman is the max! Another good rule is the "2-putt rule" on greens that have been freshly plugged. Makes for some good scores and can be an equilizer if you are playing against a good putter.

    Re: Kevin Na's 16 on Par 4

Yet, it is still not the highest ever score on a hole thanks to John Daly. I got to witness Daly make 18 on the par 5 sixth at Bay Hill. True tin cup moment and it was amazing to watch in person.

    Re: Kevin Na's 16 on Par 4

When I was first starting to play golf I took a ten on a par three once.

Thats the worst I have ever done on any one golf hole, I shot 103 at Waveland the first time I played it and said that I would never come back.

But I did and I shot 82 in of course, the spring of 82 ie 1982!!! Take that you tree lined rolly-polly monster!!! We walked the course that day fyi
